Last week was Mike's Birthday! He is now 30... something. It's hard having a birthday so close to Christmas, it seems like no matter how hard we try to plan, there is always something going on for the holidays that day. Oh well, he doesn't seem to mind. We woke him up to streamers on his door, breakfast in bed and the kids couln't wait for him to open his presents, so he opened them up in bed as well. I also tried something new for his birthday cake. I made a homemade cake roll and it was so yummy! It's our new favorite treat.
He is such a great dad and husband. I can't imagine loving him more, but he always surprises me that after 12 years of marriage, how much he still takes my breath away. He makes me want to be a better person and is a great example for everyone. We love you Mike and are very grateful to have you a part of our lives.

Hope you had a great birthday Mike! Sounds like Camille and the kids treated you good! I thought that it just wasn't right at Grandma and Grandpa's not celebrating with you and Merri. Thats just part of Christmas! Happy cake eating!
