~~Dent Christmas Party~~

I love getting together with the family to celebrate Christmas! The Dent Family Party was a few days after Christmas, and my two brothers, who live out-of-state were here to join us with their families. It was so good to see everyone, but missed Emily and Stephen who were in Michigan with Steve's family for a few weeks. We ate a yummy lunch, had our talent show from the grand kids, with everything from violin and piano solos, singing and poems. Then we get all dressed up for the famous nativity re-enactment. The grand kids look forward to this every year and can't wait for Grandma's invitation to the party to see what/who they get to be. This year Austin was a "wise man" and Nathan was a "shepard" and Megan was an "angel". My dad reads out of the scriptures the story of Christ's birth and each grandchild plays an important part of the story. All of the parents take pictures, laugh and even cry at the cute kids. Then we exchanged gifts and played, played and played. With a run to "Jake's" for their famous shakes and cheese fries at midnight before they close and then we played games into the "wii" hours of the morning. We left to go home at 3:00 am! It was so much fun and by the end of the night, my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
