Holy Bat Mike!

 Although it is July 24th and most Utahan's know this day to be "Pioneer Day" we headed up to the family cabin to get things ready for the Herbst Reunion that is next week. While we were there we found this little guy, "hanging out" on the top deck. They named him Dexter and my boys were fascinated with this little bat. Even Mike wouldn't leave it alone. Anything they put in front of him, he climbed on and hung on to. He was there the next morning and after many hours of pleading to let them take him home, my kids had a hard time saying good-bye as we left.

 Jaron is our little mouse. He can be so good about being entertained with anything and plays so quietly, I really have to keep my eye on him. While we were unpacking the car from the cabin, he headed upstairs to play. After a little while of quite play, I walked into Megan's room trying to look for him and found her hamper like this....

Then I saw two little blue eyes peeking out and then a big smile from Jaron.

 I have no idea how long he was in there, but he sure had fun playing peek a boo with the camera.
