Swimming Lessons

Megan and her swim teacher- Gini

Nate's swim teacher giving him instruction
One thing each summer my kids look forward to swimming lessons! We have a family pass at the North Davis Aquatic Center and since we are there a couple times of week anyway, we signed them up to take lessons there. They have a great facility and swim program with the top swim team in the state called the "Utah Tsunami". All of the teaches are on the Swim Team and love to teach kids about their passion. This was Nate's first year officially on the swim team level and we lucked out by having one on one instruction from the coach. After day 3 of the 10 day program of training, the other 4 kids in his classed dropped it, because it was very difficult and tiring. We were so proud of Nate sticking it out and completing the class. He learned a lot and improved on his technique. Austin is a fish in the water and is so FaSt! He loves the high dive and we can't get him out of the water. Megan is doing better and actually got in the pool this year! Although she was hesitant, she didn't cry through the whole lesson and actually let me go sit down. Jaron hung out with me and next year will be old enough to be in their classes. What a great way to start the summer!
I laugh every time I see Megan's forced smile
