St. gEorGe - DaY 2 and 3

 Before we left, my sister told me about a hike above St. George that she went on several years ago with college roommates. So, after Mike's classes we headed North to find it. It wasn't hard to find and the view was incredible. Can you see the temple just below? You can tell it is a college or high school hang out. There was a old, dirty couch on the edge of the cliff. Someone had to carry that thing all the way up there and cross and 2x20' bridge! Mike was laughing at me because I wouldn't let our kids to touch it. Yikes! Who know what's been on that thing!

 Our friends from Fruit Heights moved to Santa Clara (about 15 miles from St. George) about 2 years ago. We haven't seen them since they moved and decided to look them up. What wonderful thing Smart phones can be. We googled their address and pasted into the maps app. We couldn't believe it! We were literally only 3 miles from their house and would drive past it going back to our hotel. Wow! We had to stop by and see if they were at home. Sure enough, as we arrived they were just pulling into their driveway. We talked for hours catching up and our kids begged to stay longer. In the basement of their house, they had this race track with these cars. What a great toy!

After checking out the outlets and eating at our favorite restaurants, we are usually in the pool. If Dad's not in class, he is usually out there with us. Our kids love to swim and love staying in a hotel, just for that reason.
