Nathan 6 weeks old
Eleven years ago...this little one started our family. Ever since, we have had loads of love, laughter and gratitude that Nathan chose to come to our family. We are so proud to be his parents and will never forget the meaning of his name, "A Gift from God".

The day started off with our birthday tradition of waking up to breakfast in bed. Then we jumped on FrontRunner and headed into Salt Lake. For our family activity, he wanted to go to the Children's Museum at Gateway. We were fortunate that his birthday landed on Martin Luther King Day and there was no school or work. We had all day to play together!

| A few years ago, Mike and I went to dinner with my family. We came home and talked about the yummy dinner and how the meatballs were the size of baseballs. Well, Nathan loves Italian food and loves spaghetti. He has been begging us to take him there so he can have a baseball meatball. Since it was only a block away from Gateway, we walked over to Bucca di Beppo's and had dinner. It was delicious food and the kids loved having the restaurant sing "Happy Birthday" to Nathan in Italian. |
Then we headed home for cake, ice-cream and to open gifts. He was so excited to get his new Scout book, uniform and scout supplies. Eleven, really? He is growing up so fast and he keeps reminding me that it's less than a year away for the BIG 12! Preisthood, Young Men's and Jr. High! Oh, wow! In many ways, I can't wait, but most days I just tell him. "Enjoy being 11, you are only 11 once!"
