First Day of School

Honestly, I can't believe that summer is over. It went by way too fast. I really enjoyed having my kids home and being together. It was very busy and full of family, friends, swimming, Slurpee's, playing at the cabin, cooking classes, fishing, gardening, Slurpee's, Bees Baseball game, road trips, water-skiing and more Slurpee's.

The big day started with a big breakfast and two boys getting more excited as the time approached. With all the budget cuts and changes we couldn't get a firm answer on the bus pick place and time, so we drove them to school, walked them to their classes, took a few pictures and met their teachers. Megan could hardly stand it. She sat down at a desk next to Austin's and didn't want to leave. Mike went in late for work, so he was able to come too and they loved having Dad there to help. We are very excited for the teachers they both got and LOVE their school, it's programs and just everything about it. We feel very blessed. Later, when it was time for them to come home Megan inisited that we met them at the bus stop. When they got off the bus, they were both so excited to tell me all about it and can't wait for tomorrow. I really missed them, got a lot done with only 2 kids home, but all in all, it was a great day!
