San Diego

A few days ago we returned home from our summer vacation. Our little family set a goal at the beginning of school last year to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover. We do great with FHE and even family prayer, but reading on a regular daily basis with three little ones has been a challenge for our family, so we decided we needed a little motivation and the incentive was to go to San Diego and visit all the fun things in that city. We spent a day at the beach, visited the San Diego Temple, 2 days at Sea World and 2 days at Legoland (we just happened to be there during "Star Wars Days") It was amazing! One of the best things about our trip was after a day at Legoland we were driving back to the hotel and found fields of strawberries. We pulled off to a little stand and bought a bucket for $10 and got to go out a pick our own berries. The kids loved it and we loved eating them for the next 5 days! It was a great trip, we had a great time and the kids loved flying in an airplane, but the best reward was seeing the blessings that come from reading the scriptures as a family.

Here's a few short clips of our trip
