Last Saturday was the BIG rivalry game of BYU and U of U. If you have ever lived in Utah, even for a short time, you will know what I am talking about. There is a buzz in the air and more goes on the week prior than just the 4 hours of game play. Lawns mysteriously are painted red, big Y flags appear in windows of U supporters and even the schools have the kids were red or blue showing what team they support. It gets kind of crazy. My neighbor, bought tickets to go to the game and paid $400.00 for student section tickets. Yikes! We went down to Allison and Jeff's house to watch the game on their big TV. Mike wanted to surprise the family and bought everyone red Utah shirts. We got quite the reaction from all the BYU Graduates in the family. We had a great time together and ate yummy football food. Our kids thought it was fun to watch football and cheer for the opposite team as everyone else. Were just happy to see a Utah team play in the Sugar Bowl. Go Utes!
