Austin Gerald Herbst

Austin has been tagged by his cousin Madyson! Here are five things about Austin that you may not know:

1) Austin is all boy. He loves sports, trucks and super-hero's, but is the most cuddly kid ever! I've never have seen another 5 year old boy who gives more hugs, asks to snuggle and loves to cuddle with everyone!

2) He loves to draw. Most often, you can find him with a pencil behind his ear. His favorite thing is to surprise his family with pictures he drew of us doing things together, but hides them for us to find. Nathan found one in his lunch box at school, Mike found a note in his shoe and I often find them behind my pillow or in a drawer.

3) Austin has been in a few movies! He auditioned last year and was filmed to be in the educational videos to teach sign language called "Singing Time". He is featured in 7 of the new Series Two movies. He loves teach sign to his little sister, Megan.

4) Austin was born in Salt Lake City, Utah at LDS Hospital. His middle is given to him in honor of his Grandpa Jerry.

5) He has ridden in a helicopter! This was not by choice, but a few years ago, he had an accident that LifeFlight had to quickly take him to Primary Children's Hospital. Everything turned out fine and we love him to pieces!!!

We feel very blessed to have him in our family. He is such a sweetheart and a very compassionate person who loves to make everyone smile. He is a great helper to his mom, loves to play with his dad, hang out with his brother, Nathan and takes good care of his little sister, Megan.
