Every Saturday, we spend most of our days running from park to park with soccer games. It gets a bit tricky for 6 weeks in the fall and then again in the spring having two boys playing in the league. But, I guess we wouldn't do it if we didn't have so much fun. Also, this year I was asked to be Austin's coach. It is a lot of work, but I really enjoy teaching and getting to know the kids on the team "Blue Sharks".
This year, Nathan tried out to be the team goalie for the "Green Goblins". I think Mike and I are more nervous than he is. During last week's game, he got his soccer cleat stuck in the loose net of the goal and the ball was flying down field. He quickly used his head, took off his shoe and dove to save it from going in. We are so proud of our boys working so hard every week at practice and games.

This video is of Austin scoring another goal. The camera stopped just before his power-kick into the net, but a least we can share the excitement leading up to it.

That's pretty cool that you got to be Austin's coach and his team name was "Blue Sharks". That was totally Madyson's team name too! Way to go Nate for thinking to lose the shoe to save the ball from scoring a goal! BTW, Madyson was tagged by one of her friends, so now we've tagged Austin!!!
