Bonjour! The last couple of days have been amazing! We started off in SLC then to Seattle (with a 4 hour layover) and then straight off to PARIS! As soon as we got off the airplane we hopped on the RER (their train/subway) and it took us directly to downtown Paris. We spent all day exploring, eating, taking oodles of pictures and feeling like we were in a dream. It was all that I had imagined and more! I can't believe I got to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, visit the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay (The famous opera house that Phantom of the Opera is all about) and more. I love this city. I was surprised how much French I could remember and understand. It actually helped us in a few situations. My favorite part of the day was eating lunch in the park underneath the Eiffel Tower. We ate crepes, baguettes, croissants, eclairs, ice creams and even real french fries! We found the cutest little bakery that had glorious pastries. It's good thing we spent most of our day walking and climbing stairs or I don't think I would fit into my pants tomarrow. Anyway, today is our first day here in Scotland and Mike is very excited to show it all to me. I am grateful for a little cooler weather, Paris was very hot and humid. Hopefully, in a a day or two, we will check back in and show you all about it. Auvoir!
p.s. Nathan, Austin and Megan-We love you very much and be good for Grandma!
