Today we meet my family up at Deer Creek Resort to have a fun day of water-skiing and just spend some time playing in the sand. It has been too long since we have been able to go with them and it brought back many memories of my childhood. My kids were so excited to be in Grandpa Jerry's boat and to have it be on the lake and not just on the trailer! (They have often gone with Mike and Grandpa to take and bring it out of storage). We had a few snags, but to say the least, it felt so good to be back on the lake together. Megan did really well, ate a little sand, but fell asleep in the boat. We built sand castles, threw the frizbee to each other in the shallow water and played all day in the sun!
