Good Things Utah

For my mom's birthday this year, we took her to see her favorite local TV show called "Good Things Utah". It's on everyday at 10:00 am, on ABC4. It is 4 laddies who talk about local news, events, cooking, crafts and etc. One of the hosts, Angie Larsen, (the girl in red just below me) used to be my neighbor about 5 years ago when we lived in Draper. We worked in YW together at the time she was doing the traffic on the morning news. So, since my mom is a loyal viewer we thought it would be fun to get tickets and take her to be in the "live audience" for her birthday. It was really fun to see how they run a "live" TV show and took a tour of the studio. We also got free key chains, scrapbook supplies (from each segment) and almost free rodeo tickets. (That's another story). Anyway, they scanned the audience a couple of times and then towards the end of the show they did a close up shot on my mom and gave "Caroline" a warm "happy birthday". We love you mom! Thanks for everything you do for your family!

What a great idea, I bet she was in heaven! I always love to see what new recipe she has printed off from the cooking segment!
