Christmas Lights at Temple Square

This time of year is full of traditions and growing up my family would spend a night in a hotel downtown Salt Lake to experience Christmas in the city. This is the first year we implemented this tradition to our little family. We took our kids to the Hilton Hotel and had a grand time showing them the excitement that the city can have just a few days before Christmas. We spent most of the evening walking around Temple Square looking at the millions of beautiful lights and toured the 'ol Tabernacle. We also saw a performance of sister missionaries singing Christmas hymns and a orchestra playing at the Assembly Hall. Nathan's favorite part was seeing the nativity and Austin's was viewing the "Christus" in the visitor's center. We went out to dinner and woke up the next morning to room service. Our kids thought it was silly to have a waiter bring us breakfast in bed! We went swimming in the pool and relaxed all morning. We had a great time and was so fun hearing our kids tell us "thank you" about every 20 min.
