Pumpkin Patch

A few weeks ago we harvested our pumpkins from the patch! We had such a great time watching them grow all season and had 9 great pumpkins of all different sizes, shapes and colors! Nathan learned about how plants grow in school last year so it was great to have him help with our garden this summer. We planted everything from corn, beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, peas, tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini. It is a lot of work and I don't know how my parents did it all those years, but if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have a clue on what to do. (I still call them and ask questions). There comes a great satisfaction from working hard and reaping the rewards. One of my favorite things is to eat fresh veggies!
