Trick-or-Treat

Jaron's monster pumkin

Nate carved a wolf into his pumkin
The crew --All ready for Trick-Or-Treating
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! What a night we had with four very excited kids! We had our Halloween dinner with soup in pumpkin looking bread bowls and then headed out for candy time! After Jaron and Megan were tired, they came back and Nate and Austin went back out for more! Then we jumped in the car, headed to each of their Primary teachers and then up to Fruit Heights to visit cousins. By the end of the night, Nate and Austin were loaded! Almost scary. While they are at school today, I might just have to raid their candy and hide a portion of it as a surprise for later, maybe next January. Megan loved seeing everyone's costumes and already has her mind made up what she wants to dress up as next year. Jaron ate his candy as fast as he got it and found him uner our baby grand piano with a pile of wrappers all around him. Most of it, only had one bite taken out of each candy bar and every sucker wrapper was off and stuck to the carpet. It was almost as if he wanted to try one bite, one lick with everything, just to see what he liked best. It was so much fun!
Megan and her kitty carved pumpkin
We found Megan's witch costume online at eBay. It was only $1.99! We had to pay $3.99 to ship it here, but still thought it was quite the deal. It was basically brand new and looked like it had only been worn, once!
Austin's karate chop
Austin loves the martial arts. He took karate lessons for a little under a year and ever since he learned how to break a board with his hands a few months ago, he wanted to be a Nija Master for Halloween.
Nate's Mummy Costume
I ended up makeing Nate's costume this year. With tearing braodcloth and dying it in tea, I sewed it on a long T-shirt and white pants I found on clearance and JCPenny. Total Cost $11. Our sweet little indian, Jaron, was adorable in this costume from the past. Both Nate and Austin wore this when they were his age and I can't wait to get side by side pictures of each of them with it.

Nieghborhood kids ready for a BIG night
We have great neighbors and they all came over at the same time for pictures! What a good looking crew! Each Halloween, after they have been trick-or-treating they have made thier last stop by our house. How sweet they are to come over so we can see how adorable they are! What a cute family!
Visit from cousins -- Uncle Ryan, Cason, Madyson, and Reygan -- All Orange and Black!
