Okay, so I'm a bit behind on my blog, but I have a good excuse. I've been sick, busy, kids sick and out of town, but really should be preparing for my talk in sacrament meeting, but oh well, I'll admit when I'm procrastinating. Anyway, a few weeks ago the boys school had a night where they invited the families to come to the Classic Fun Center in Layton and roller-skate (I haven't done that in a long time...flashbacks to my childhood and pretending to be on Xanadu with my sisters), play laser tag, jump in the bounce house and have pizza all for $2 per person. I have been really impressed with this school, the PTA, and how family centered they are. Every month they create and activity that the parents can spend an evening with their families, meet other kids and parents in the school and have a fun night together. So far we've had movie night, a carnival, museum walk, poetry readings and game nights. Anyway, we had a great time together, the kids gave up on roller skates after a good effort and we pulled out their scooters for the last half, but Mike and I pretty much laughed the whole night at each other.

That sounds so fun. What a great idea for a school to be so into families!! We need a little of that nowadays! I'd really like to see Mike on rollerskates!! :)
It's nearly impossible to stay up to date on blogs since things happen every week. It's always fun to see what's going on at the Herbst home. :)
