Last week we took our kids to the Draper Temple Open House. It was amazing! We've had our tickets reserved since Thanksgiving and my kids were very excited to go. For those of you who don't know, Mike and I bought our first home in Draper and lived there for almost 4 1/2 years before moving to Kaysville. We have great memories there and love that little town tucked in the hill. It has grown and changed a lot since we moved away, but it was very fun to go back and see the beautiful temple and our old house. I love being able to do things like this with my kids, it really sparks great questions and just being inside the temple seeing all the artwork and each room was wonderful to share it with them. I think it helps them see and understand where mom and dad go each month and why we love going. I am so grateful to live with 12 temples all around us in every direction and hope that I never forget how blessed we are from the temples.
