Nathan's Interview

Last week Nathan had a fun school project. He had to pick someone he admired and interview them, write a letter to ask permission and then wrote his first biography. His teacher wrote a letter to his us explaining their project and who he choose. I was thrilled that he picked his Grandpa Jerry. We set up a time to go over and ask him the questions he prepared at school. This was part of his interview.

Q: What's your favorite color?

A: Red

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: BBQ Ribs and any kind of pie (especially apple pie)

Q: What is your favorite thing to do?

A: To build things out of wood and take my grandkids, wife and kids for a Sunday ride in my model A car.

After a few more questions, Nathan came home a wrote this all on his own...

My Grandpa Jerry is my hero. I choose him becawse he is a great buildr and can make and fix anything from wood. He even built his own howse that he sleeps in everynight. He lets me watch him work and fix things for my Grandma. He is a hard worker and very honest. I love to be with him because he always make me feel good and asks me questhions about things I like.

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful father and role model for my kids. I can't think of anyone else who I would want for my kids to have as their hero. Thanks dad for everything. We love you!
