Time flies by so fast when you are having fun and you suddenly find yourself with a 7 year old. I love this boy so much and he has brought so much love and joy to my life. On January 16th, 2001 at 8:22 am, Nathan Michael Herbst was born at Salt Lake Regional Hospital. He was 6 lbs 7 oz and 21" long. I remember the nurse wrapped him up so tight in those blankets she called him "burrito boy". It was so good to finally have him here! We tried for 3 years to have a baby and I remember thinking, it's finally my turn. He has been everything I wanted and more. I decided to go to his school on his birthday and each school lunch with him. What an experince that was. He was so excited and introduced me to everyone, including the lunch ladies. I lucked out because it was pizza day and he couldn't wait to tell me how everything works. After school, we took him out to dinner. He choose Quiznos. His favorite place with the sandwich that has everything. Then we drove up to my parents how where we have been keeping his present. He got a new bike and was so excited that he rode around their cul-de-sac in the dark and with it only being 15 degrees outside. We love you Nathan, Happy Birthday!
